One of the hallmarks of Gobik is to give identity to everyone who wants to have it, how? Through the service of custom kits, which allows all the groups, teams, associations and anyone who wants to wear a unique skin, making them feel important even if they do not race the Tour, the Giro or La Vuelta, taking care and pampering everyone equally.
Berlin Racing Squad is a team from the German city, founded in 2023 in order to join forces between friends of the Berlin cycling scene. A team of 10 riders that organizes social rides to encourage people to get on their bikes and help them learn how to ride in a group.
We also took the opportunity to ask them how Berlin is for cycling, the way Berliners treat this sport and, above all, all those who take their bikes to ride every day. As we could imagine, the traffic in the city is unavoidable, but it is something that, far from discouraging their desire to go out, they take it as a fun part of their outings, "going around cars on the streets of the city can be fun," they tell us. They also tell us that steps are being taken by local institutions to build new infrastructures to facilitate the practice of sports.
A special feature of Berlin is a former airport with an aerodrome that is used by a large number of athletes in their training sessions, where they can give their best without worrying about traffic. We are also told that leaving the city, you can find excellent routes for both road and gravel cycling in the surroundings of Berlin.
Like most groups of cyclists, they meet in a store or in a cafe to start or finish their outings; in their case, they usually start in New Order, a cycling store, and to finish they name us a coffee shop (write it down if you visit Berlin someday), Isla Coffee Shop where they recommend us to go for a coffee and enjoy a good brunch.
That said, it's time to talk about how, from Gobik, we help them to show their essence through the kits that the team members wear every day. Let's start at the beginning, and it was thanks to one of our friends, a regular Gobik user, that the rest of the team got to know us. His experience was a key factor in making the decision. This, added to the feeling they had in the first call with us, ended up resulting in the union with the Berlin Racing Squad. Another point that caught their attention is our European manufacturing, an aspect that we both consider fundamental to respect and care for our work and environment, in addition to the short waiting period when receiving their custom.
A point of vital importance for us is to know the degree of satisfaction with our product. The first thing that stands out is the way of capturing on the fabric the design that the German team had in mind, a white base that incorporates fluid colors and that they were able to see after receiving our 3D model. This, added to the quality we offer in each of our garments, ends up leading to a great satisfaction with our service, "We are delighted with the final product; it fits us very well and we are proud of it". They tell us that they have recommended Gobik to other cycling clubs in the city and that they are looking forward to seeing the new outfits of their colleagues.
