GOBIK is born with customization.
2010
GOBIK's story begins in 2010. A local cycling club in Yecla (Spain) needed equipment for training and racing. Our proposal was the most attractive they received.
They were our first 150 customized kits that, even today, can still be seen on the street, as an indelible memory of how GOBIK was born.
"Passionate about cycling", but also cyclists, that's how José Ramón and Alberto define themselves. The two creators of Gobik were unknowingly taking the first steps towards the creation of the brand.
That success was like an oil stain on the map, a stain that became thicker and bigger: more and more people were asking for the authors of those garments. An interest that came from different clubs, in unison: gradually new orders were arriving in José Ramón and Alberto's e-mails.

The first installations
2014
The first years flew by. In 2014 we consolidated our first facilities in Yecla for the production and confection of our own designs.
The textile is the extension of the cyclist's soul, the way to express the feeling he lives with respect to his sport. And it is not about dressing everyone the same, it is important to be different, to mark your personality on the machine, to express yourself... the clothes speak of the person who wears them and of their belonging to a group.
The brand is based on the concept of "Clothing". CustomThe brand is based on the concept of "Clothing" as a sign of identity, with a very marked process that still distinguishes us in the sector.
For a long time, the claim "The Custom Wear Company" will accompany us on this journey.

THE FIRST COLLECTION
2016
The knowledge of the materials, the obsession for maximum performance and the first-hand contact with the users of customized clothing, open the door to the first GOBIK collection, which also begins its online sale.
UNIBIKE, the bicycle fair in Madrid, will be our springboard to make our proposal known throughout Spain.
In sporting terms, GOBIK fulfills the dream of dressing the leader of the 2016 Vuelta a la Comunidad Valenciana in yellow. It will be the first milestone of our sports sponsorship strategy.

THE FIRST PRO TEAMS
2017
We attended our first season in the MTB World Cup with the Primaflor team. Mondraker and its top rider of the moment: Olympic medalist Carlos Coloma.
In the words of Fran Perez, team manager:
"We have been with Gobik from the very first moment. From minute zero of this relationship, the feedback from the riders has been the basis of everything, a harmony that arose from the race itself, with opinions almost at the moment that implied substantial improvements in the product in a very short time".
We discovered the magic of the island of Mallorca and of sharing a cycling event with 8,000 participants in Mallorca 312.
Our online sales strategy is completed with the figure of Team Stores: customized stores for clubs, events or teams with an operating model of advance purchases.

ALWAYS COLLABORATING WITH CHILDREN
2018
At Christmas 2018, we are trying to "cherish the dreams of the little ones" with our solidarity campaign #SavingDreams, hand in hand with. Save The Children and with the help of sports ambassadors and friends of GOBIK.
Then, Rodrigo Hernández, territorial spokesman for Levante of GOBIK.Save the Children, said a few words that filled us with pride:
"Gobik's social responsibility policy is real, first class."
Nonconformism is not just a stylistic device, it is the commitment shared by the entire organization to constantly strive to improve, not only our product, but to humbly help heal wounds and inequalities in the society of which we are a part.

The first Ambassadors
2019
2019 couldn't get off to a better start for GOBIK: Alberto Contador and Julien Absalon join our project as sports ambassadors. Thus, Tour, Giro, Vuelta, Olympic medals, World and European Championships enrich our brand.
We attended for the first time as exhibitors at one of the reference events of the European cycling industry: EUROBIKE. There we showed what would be the new winter collection for 2019.
We expanded our participation in the MTB World Cup. In addition to the Primaflor Mondraker, we also dressed the teams BH Templo Cafés, Absolute Absalon and Brujula Bike Racing Team. We started our route also on the road with Caja Rural-Seguros RGA Team and the Kometa Cycling Team.

A YEAR OF CHALLENGES
2020
We witnessed one of the most delicate moments in our history with the emergence of COVID-19.
During the pandemic, we made every technical and human effort available for the selfless manufacture of medical masks and gowns.
This commitment led to the birth of our own brand of reusable masks Maask.eu.
We created the HEROES limited edition to pay tribute to this universe of healthcare professionals who literally gave their all during the worst moments of the pandemic. 100% of the proceeds went to support the assistance work of the Spanish Red Cross.

FIRST TOUR DE FRANCE
2021
GOBIK, with the help of Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates wins its first Tour de France on Sunday, July 18, 2021. A date that remains forever marked in our memory.
Without leaving our city, Yecla, we began the construction of new corporate offices and production facilities, environmentally efficient, in an area exceeding 15,000 m2.
Juan Antonio Flecha becomes a sports ambassador for the brand. Professional cyclist from 2000 to 2013, former iBanesto, Fassa Bortolo, Rabobank, Sky and Vacansoleil. Commentator for Eurosport in Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta a España.

WOMEN'S TEAMS
2022
We start the year announcing the next step in our commitment to women's cycling at the highest level: we become the technical sponsor of 2 of the best World Tour teams in the women's category: UAE Team ADQ FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope and FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope.
Our sports sponsorship strategy takes us to the top of Italy, the cradle of our sport. We went on to sign the textile collections of major events such as Giro Donne, Nove Colli and the Dolomiti Super Bike. A real luxury.

A year of changes
2023
We present a new visual identity. Rebranding of the brand and new symbol that connect perfectly with the restless character of the company and very much in tune with the new brand positioning: "The new brand identity is a new way of thinking, a new way of thinking".What a ride", a claim that allows us to express unique experiences lived on the bike and in many occasions of our own life.
Gobik becomes an official sponsor of the team. Movistar Team, It was only a matter of time before Gobik and the team with the longest history in the peloton, the only Spanish World Tour team, crossed paths.
Dressing the men's and women's team is a challenge and a source of pride for us, a mix of tradition and modernity that is reflected in their kits.

INEOS JOINS GOBIK
2024
INEOS Grenadiers arrives to Gobik, one of the biggest teams on the planet, a new international squad that added to the rest of the structures with which we collaborate marked a milestone in our production, possible to the inauguration of our new facilities in Yecla (Murcia), the largest technological park for the manufacture of cycling apparel in Europe, noted for its focus on quality and innovation throughout the process.
The Custom Works campaign. “Join the repopulation” campaign made us travel through forgotten places, it was a cry for help to almost depopulated areas of Europe, villages that have been left without neighbors and that cyclists visit every weekend keeping them alive.
