Jordan Sarrou: first elite rainbow designer Gobik

Last Saturday, October 10, the Whyex family of Gobik family was very attentive to the fate of a handful of bikers who were playing the jersey the rainbow on the muddy circuit of Leogang, Austria. An expectation that bordered on euphoria when two French bikers of the Absolute AbsalonJordan Sarrou and Titouan Carod ended up on the first and third step of the elite XCO race.

This is one of the most intense moments in our ten-year history.

The explosion of Jordan Sarrou

Overcome with an emotion that is difficult to describe, Jordan Sarrou describes the moment as "something you dream of as a child and over the years you see yourself there, world champion, but it would be unfair not to admit that it is a collective victory, because there are many people with me, adding up to make this a reality: from my coach, to the team, the family, my wife... everything is aligned to be perfect at the right time".

"It's without a doubt the best day of my career," continues the Frenchman. I'm world champion, I'll need even more days to believe it. You always compete for the gold, but this is too much, I have found my place and it is at the top". A place that he saw clearly "half a lap to go, at the top of the last descent, from there I could enjoy the last meters, knowing that I had it and thinking of the people who trusted me".

And it is that belonging to the team of AbsalonThere is only one goal ahead: "Now Tokyo, without a doubt. It's the holy grail and I'm starting from a good position, although we all know that the work to get there will be hard".

The rainbow design

A road on which Gobik will be with the new world champion: "Every detail counts at this level. Hard work is better if you take into account any improvement, no matter how small. Wearing quality garments certainly helps. They are pieces designed for the biker's comfort and that's what I value from Gobikthe balance between comfort and performance in high competition.

The garment that Sarrou will be wearing over the next twelve months will be the most beautiful in world cycling, which brings with it a responsibility: "I'm sure it will be the most beautiful in the world. The jersey The world champion's jersey is structured so that the white base color helps to highlight the most important icon: the rainbow stripe".

Jordan Sarrou's rainbow joins other pieces that have written the history of these ten years of life of the Murcian firm, a path in which shine brightly the under 23 XCO rainbow of Vlad Dascalu in 2019, the first competition designs for Primaflor and Carlos Coloma, for the leaders of the Volta a Catalunya and Vuelta a Comunidad Valenciana and for Contador and Basso - Aurum Bikes-, among many others.

Bravo Jordan! Bravo Champion du Monde!
