Purpose of the processing

We process your data to manage your report, providing adequate protection against retaliation.

Legal basis for the processing

The legal basis is:

  • Compliance with a legal obligation.
  • Where special categories of data are processed, the processing will be necessary for reasons of substantial public interest.

Categories of data processed

The following may be processed:

  • Identifying data of the reporting person (if the report is not submitted anonymously).
  • Data of the persons concerned or mentioned in the report.
  • Information relating to the reported facts.

Retention period

The data of the person making the report, as well as that of employees and third parties, will be kept in the reporting system only for the time strictly necessary to decide whether to initiate an investigation into the reported facts.

If it is established that the information provided, or part of it, is not truthful, it will be immediately deleted as soon as this circumstance becomes known, unless such lack of truthfulness may constitute a criminal offence, in which case the information will be retained for the necessary time during the judicial proceedings.

In any case, once three months have elapsed from the entry of the data, it will be deleted from the reporting system, unless the data is retained to provide evidence of the functioning of the system.

Recipients of the data

The data may be disclosed to:

  • Judicial or administrative authorities, or the Public Prosecutor's Office, when necessary.
  • External providers managing the internal information channel, acting as data processors.

The confidentiality of the reporting person's identity is guaranteed in accordance with the applicable regulations.

International data transfers

No transfer of data outside the European Economic Area is envisaged.

The data subject may exercise their rights of Access, Rectification, Erasure, Objection, Restriction of processing, and Portability
