“Hyder" the newest member of the long sleeve jerseys

We are possibly talking about what will be the Gobik's quintessential long sleeve jersey for the winter. It is the "Hyder", one of the great novelties of the Cold24, now comes in all its versions and colors.

It is a long-sleeved jersey halfway between two Gobik emblems, "Cobble" and "Pacer", true stars of the winter jerseys family. With a wider temperature range, the new reference is presented as "one of the most versatile pieces for this winter" says Jose "Llargo", Gobik tester.

The virtue is in the balance

Inspired by the two models we mentioned above, the new "Hyder" takes from "Pacer" the openings in the armpits, that "allow an air circuit that keeps you cooler," continues Llargo.

In addition to this "channeling" of air flow, it incorporates new features on the back, such as four pockets, two of them mesh, one perfect for carrying the phone and not condense with body heat, and another on the same right side, to be able to store gel packs comfortably during the ride.

At the other end, "Hyder" incorporates a thicker fabric, but not as thick as that of "Cobble". The jersey is composed of a warm, thin layer of lightweight fleece, with slightly less weight, which also allows for customization.

The new “Hyder" jersey waistband is aesthetically pleasing and breathable, with an optimal fit thanks to micro-perforated silicone. Together with the finish of the cuffs, it makes the jersey a glove that fully conforms to the rider's anatomy.

For mild winters

"The garment is perfect for mild winters, as it can be worn from the early morning, combined with another piece, like a vest or a jacket on top, or a thermal base layer. You can remove layers as the ride progresses and the temperature rises," continues Jose.

And he adds: "It solves those dilemmas of temperature change that we often have when we go out in between seasons and winter".

Solid versions and one with more protection

The "Hyder" also comes in "blend" versions, combinations that are worth getting to know for their sobriety and elegance, but also for the performance of its solid fabric zones, with a plus of protection and fit.

On another level, we find the "Superhyder", the advanced version of the "Hyder" model. It incorporates the eVent® DVstretch™ membrane, which offers wind protection and resistance to light rain. Thanks to its technical features, the "Superhyder" is perfect for use without a vest in unstable weather conditions.

To top it all off, the Gobik winter family has a new member, in the middle of the pack, so that the balance of performance will ultimately enhance the rider's experience.
