Gobik and INEOS Grenadiers Cycling Team launch an evolution in cycling with the new Singularity 2.0. This high-tech garment will be the new secret weapon of the INEOS Grenadiers at the Tour de France, marking a milestone in the evolution of aerodynamic performance.
INEOS Grenadiers Specialists
With an elite team that includes Filippo Ganna, Joshua Tarling, Tobias Foss and Magnus Sheffield among others, INEOS Grenadiers is positioned at the forefront of the time trial specialty and prioritises continual research and development to maintain its position in this space.
Innovation, development and results
Since signing the technical sponsorship agreement, Gobik and the INEOS Grenadiers have worked together with surgical precision to optimize the aerodynamics and performance of the specific time trial garments.
The Singularity 2.0 is the product of 30 prototypes developed throughout the season in collaboration with both INEOS Grenadiers and Gobik’s technical teams with the goal to have the final version ready for this year’s Tour de France where every second counts.
The development process has involved Gobik attending all test sessions with INEOS Grenadiers and then further refining through weekly review meetings between both technical teams. Every time trial suit has been custom designed to fit each rider.
Real impact in competition
The improvements achieved with Singularity 2.0 range from 2%-5%, which is a significant advantage in the time trial. In the first time trial of the Giro d’Italia, four of the top five riders were from INEOS Grenadiers using the previous version of the suit, and in the second time trial, Filippo Ganna emerged victorious with the latest version.
Conclusion
The Singularity 2.0 puts Gobik and INEOS Grenadiers at the pinnacle of innovation and excellence in cycling. This time trial suit, the result of precision engineering and uncompromising performance, is poised to lead the INEOS Grenadiers team to become a benchmark in the time trial discipline.
