The One Off is Gobik's new experimental line. A space for advanced product exploration, limited releases, and a new design language. Created outside the structure of the usual seasonal collections, in this new one we wanted to bring together our experience in technical development with contemporary culture and a more selective approach to high-performance garments.
The concept behind The One Off stems from the premise "What if the question matters more than the answer?". This means working with materials, patterns, and construction methods that allow us to explore new possibilities in cycling apparel.
Each garment has been developed with a clear function, but also with greater attention to design, exclusivity, and the details that make the difference when you put it on. The first release presents a complete kit system, with the KRYPTON jersey and the XENON bib shorts as its central axis.
KRYPTON Jersey
KRYPTON is the main jersey in The One Off collection. Made entirely from a high-precision woven fabric, it proposes a different approach for the torso by focusing on structure, stability, and an impeccable fit. The fabric gives the garment a more defined shape, helping it stay close to the body without unnecessary creases during intense efforts or at sustained high speeds.
The jersey uses a bonded construction to reduce seams and achieve a smoother finish in key contact areas. This promotes aerodynamic efficiency while improving comfort, especially when the rider adopts an aggressive position for long periods. The result is a jersey with a technical, precise, and controlled feel, with a design that reflects the experimental identity of The One Off.
Lightness and stability: At just 66 grams in size M, KRYPTON is extremely lightweight, but its performance lies in how stable it remains while riding. Its patterning follows the rider's position on the bike, keeping the fabric close to the body without restricting freedom of movement in the shoulders, chest, and arms.
Technical aesthetics: Its Future Gray finish gives it a technical and minimalist look, aligned with the purpose of the collection: an advanced, limited-edition piece clearly differentiated from Gobik's usual lines.
XENON Bib Shorts
XENON completes The One Off’s core performance system. This bib short has been developed around support, compression, and stability for long-distance rides. Its hybrid architecture is designed to adapt to the rider’s movements, ensuring a firm and consistent fit at the legs, hips, and straps.
The key function of XENON is to provide uniform compression without creating restrictions. This helps keep the bib short in place through continuous changes in position, whether riding seated, climbing, accelerating, or maintaining a steady intensity. The garment is designed not to move, reducing fabric friction and maintaining comfort on the longest rides.
Biomechanical adaptation: The pattern and positioning of the fabrics work in favor of the body’s movement on the bike. For the rider, this translates into more natural support, eliminating those small pressure points that become uncomfortable over the hours.
Technical specifications: At a weight of 180 grams in size M and a recommended temperature range of 15 to 35 ºC, XENON is positioned as a high-performance bib short for demanding conditions. The K12 chamois adds an extra layer of comfort for long distances, while maintaining a clean and efficient structure.
A complete performance system
Together, KRYPTON and XENON define the first release of The One Off. The jersey provides structure, lightness, and aerodynamic precision through the torso, while the bib short delivers compression, support, and stability in the legs. Both garments share the same vision: advanced construction, a streamlined fit, and a design that places them in Gobik’s most experimental universe.
