The Gobik family of accessories for the cyclist is dressed for the coming winter. The collection grows and improves, the result of a circular work that is reflected in the catalog: "Everything is tested, everything is tested, each reference that comes on the market is supported by the feedback of the sales team, of the groups that work with our custom and the professional teams in the most extreme conditions".

This is Julián Ferrero, from Gobik's product development team, responsible for accessories and complements.

"Nothing that appears there is random, everything arises from a need expressed by the cyclist."

Gloves

Gobik's portfolio of accessories is extensive, but we take a look at four references starting with gloves, one of the items most associated with winter.

If we go from more to less temperature, we start with the "Finder" gloves. The first long model of the autumn-winter collection, being a mid-season piece, for temperatures from 8 to 18 degrees Celsius. It is followed by the "Bora Neoshell" these are a more technical garment, as Julián explains: "Its Neoshell fabric is the same as that of the Envy jackets. The outside of the upper part is made of this material and the inside is plush and warm. On the palm we incorporated microfiber, for a better fit to the handlebars. These gloves are for 5 to 10 degrees.

Lowering the temperature range we give with the "Nuuk" and "Zero" gloves. Both are similar in appearance and their difference lies in thickness. "Nuuk" have neoprene in the cuff and Primaloft fabric, which gives them a very powerful insulation, for temperatures from 0 to 10 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, "Zero" have a knitted cuff, tighter, thicker and therefore heavier, because they are intended for -5 to 5 degrees Celsius.

The "Tundra" gloves are for winter with rain, are 100% neoprene, 4 millimeters thick and very technical. "We recommend their use in persistent rain conditions" completes Julian.

For neck and head

In the series of elements to protect the neck and head during winter outings, the “Tubular" bandana is a polyester piece with the possibility of sublimation that stands out for its versatility, it can cover neck and also ears in a context of 5 to 10 degrees. For more warmth, the "Moonbah" bandana in merino for protection in colder temperatures, from 0 degrees Celsius and above.

One of the novelties for this winter season is the thermal headband "Frontline". A plush complement, which incorporates merino fabric to increase its protection. It has no seams and is somewhat asymmetrical to improve its effectiveness, being wider at the back to protect the ears. "It is a seamless garment, which makes it very comfortable. It also incorporates reflective details on the back."

Socks and boot covers

Feet play an important role in the winter season. To cope with these days Gobik has a couple of models of socks. The "Winter Merino" are medium weight and for temperature ranges from 0 to 12 degrees Celsius. The new "Deep Winter Merino" with bioceramic fabric reinforcement in the toe and sole, retain heat better for -4 to 10 degrees.
