Description:

Jacket designed to face extreme conditions, offering maximum thermal comfort and unsurpassed protection against the elements. Its new construction combines the eVent® DVstorm™ membrane with Polartec® Alpha® thermal insulation, providing exceptional performance in cold and wet conditions.

The fully heat-sealed outer layer is made with the renowned eVent® DVstorm™ membrane, which acts as a waterproof and windproof barrier, while allowing optimal breathability and sweat evaporation. Inside, the Polartec® Alpha® insulation guarantees advanced thermal comfort with excellent breathability. Its innovative design combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh core, promoting active air circulation. It is a lightweight, compressible fabric that is highly efficient in managing moisture generated by exertion.

To reinforce its water resistance, the front zipper uses the YKK Vislon® Aquaguard® model, ensuring total watertightness. In addition, it features zippered cuffs and a high collar for superior protection, along with two wide rear zip openings that allow easy access to the inner pockets.

RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS

Low or very low temperatures. Days with wind and rain. Ideal for both easy and intense outings. The insulation technology used offers a wide thermal range, providing constant warmth with exemplary breathability.

CONSTRUCTION

The main fabric incorporates a waterproof layer with the prestigious eVent® DVstorm™ membrane, completely resistant to water and wind, but highly breathable, allowing for efficient sweat evaporation.
Inside, insulation is provided by 68 g/m² Polartec® Alpha®, originally developed for U.S. special forces who required a combination of thermal insulation and breathability during intermittent activity. This material combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh structure, which promotes active air circulation. It is extremely lightweight, compressible, and manages moisture instantly.
The synergy between both layers allows for retaining body heat and eliminating excess moisture, while blocking the entry of cold air and rain.
The fully taped seams ensure total protection against water. The high double-layer collar reinforces this protection in one of the areas most exposed to wind and cold.
The Japanese YKK zipper, fully sealed, guarantees complete protection against the elements. In addition, it incorporates a magnetic flap to prevent chafing and increase comfort.
At the back, two large zippered openings have been integrated to facilitate access to the inner pockets, even with gloves. Inside, there are two mesh pockets to keep items safe from the elements.
The design is completed with multiple strategically placed reflective elements to optimize visibility in low-light conditions.

Insulating membrane designed for demanding activities, offering lightweight and effective all-weather protection. Fully water and wind repellent, capable of optimal breathability and sweat evacuation. Water column of 10,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m2/24h.

Insulation technology designed for U.S. Special Forces, who required optimal breathability in continuous start and stop combat conditions. Combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh core to create an active air circulation system. It is very lightweight, compressible and wicks away moisture generated by exertion instantly.

Its structure favors the retention of body heat, creating a warm, dry, and comfortable interior environment. Sealed Zipper

It offers great protection against wind and rain, preventing them from penetrating the inside of the garment.
