Description:

Jacket designed to take on extreme conditions, offering maximum thermal comfort and unrivalled protection against the elements. Its new construction combines the eVent® DVstorm™ membrane with Polartec® Alpha® thermal insulation, delivering exceptional performance in cold and wet conditions.

The fully taped outer layer is made with the renowned eVent® DVstorm™ membrane, which acts as a waterproof and windproof barrier while allowing optimal breathability and moisture evacuation. Inside, Polartec® Alpha® insulation guarantees advanced thermal comfort with excellent breathability. Its innovative design combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh core, promoting active air circulation. It is a lightweight, packable fabric that is highly efficient at managing the moisture generated by exertion.

To reinforce its water resistance, the front zipper uses YKK’s Vislon® Aquaguard® model, ensuring complete waterproofness. In addition, it incorporates zip cuffs and a high collar for superior protection, together with two wide rear zip openings that allow easy access to the inner pockets, even while wearing gloves.

RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS

Low or very low temperatures. Windy and rainy days. Ideal for both easy and intense rides. The insulation technology used offers a wide thermal range, providing constant warmth with exemplary breathability.

CONSTRUCTION

The main fabric incorporates a waterproof layer with the prestigious eVent® DVstorm™ membrane, fully resistant to water and wind, yet highly breathable, allowing efficient moisture evacuation.
Inside, insulation is provided by 68 g/m² Polartec® Alpha®, originally developed for U.S. special forces who required a combination of thermal insulation and breathability in intermittent activity situations. This material combines hydrophobic fibers with a solid mesh structure, promoting active air circulation. It is extremely lightweight, compressible, and manages moisture immediately.
The synergy between both layers helps retain body heat and eliminate excess moisture, while blocking the entry of cold air and rain.
The fully taped finish ensures total protection against water. The double-layer high collar reinforces this protection in one of the areas most exposed to wind and cold.
The fully taped Japanese YKK zipper guarantees a complete seal against the elements. In addition, it incorporates a magnetic flap to prevent chafing and increase comfort.
At the rear, two wide zippered openings have been integrated to facilitate access to the inner pockets, even while wearing gloves. Inside, there are two mesh pockets to keep items protected from adverse weather.
The design is completed with multiple reflective elements strategically positioned to optimize visibility in low-light conditions.

PRODUCT CARE

The use of backpacks or accessories with straps may cause friction and premature wear to the fabrics, so any damage resulting from this will void the warranty.
Do not dry clean.
Wash in cold water, using neutral detergent and without fabric softener.
Wash inside out, with zippers and Velcro closed; otherwise, pilling may appear on certain fabrics.
Use a laundry bag whenever possible and the minimum load of clothing in the washing machine.
Use the delicate garments program or spin at the lowest speed possible.
Dry the garment inside out and in the shade.
Do not leave the garment to soak, or wring it out to drain.
Do not iron.

Its structure favors the retention of body heat, creating a warm, dry, and comfortable interior environment. Sealed Zipper

It offers great protection against wind and rain, preventing them from penetrating the inside of the garment.

Magnetic Protective Flap

The front zipper features a magnetic protective flap that prevents chafing and increases comfort. Thanks to its magnet system, it is very easy to put on, even with thick winter gloves.

Adjustable with sealed zipper. They allow a precise closure around the wrist to block the entry of air and water. Their design makes it easy to put on the glove, ensuring a secure fit and greater protection in extreme conditions.
