Description:

High-performance aerodynamic overshoes developed to optimize one of the areas most exposed to airflow during pedaling: the assembly formed by the foot, ankle, and tibial area.

Designed for time trial competition and high-speed scenarios, they incorporate a hybrid textile architecture that acts differently on the most critical areas from an aerodynamic standpoint. Their objective is to reduce the turbulence generated around the shoe and promote a cleaner, more efficient interaction with the airflow.

The cuff incorporates a double-layer construction that combines a three-dimensional structured fabric on the inside with a smooth outer fabric. This system helps improve flow stability in a key performance area, especially in aggressive positions and at high speeds.

The lower area, intended to cover the shoe, is made from a smooth fabric coated with polyurethane, selected for its ability to create a uniform outer surface. By encapsulating elements such as BOA dials, hook-and-loop straps, laces, vents, or openings in the shoe itself, it helps reduce the residual drag associated with their irregular geometry.

RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS

Designed for time trial competition, high-speed events and specific training sessions where aerodynamic efficiency is a priority. They deliver their highest performance in aggressive riding positions, especially when the aim is to reduce the drag generated by the shoe, foot, ankle and shin area.

Suitable for mild or warm conditions, within a usage range of +12 to +30 ºC. They are not intended as thermal or waterproof overshoes, but as a technical accessory focused on improving aerodynamic performance on the road.

CONSTRUCTION

  • Its design addresses the specific demands of time trial competition, where every detail of the rider-bike system can influence the reduction of total drag. To achieve this, a hybrid textile architecture has been developed that works differently in the cuff and in the lower section that covers the shoe.

PRODUCT CARE

  • Do not dry clean.
  • Wash in cold water, using neutral detergent and no fabric softener.
  • Wash inside out and with the zipper fully closed, otherwise pilling may appear on certain fabrics.
  • Use a laundry bag whenever possible and the minimum load of clothing in the washing machine.
  • Use the delicate cycle or spin at the lowest speed possible.
  • Dry the garment inside out and in the shade.
  • Do not leave the garment soaking, or wring it out to drain it.
  • Do not iron.
