From Córdoba to Yecla, driven by the passion for cycling inherited from his father
“Can you imagine the crazy thing I did? I’m from Córdoba and I moved to Yecla to work for a cycling company just like that, simply because I liked cycling.”
Aitor decided to come to Yecla out of passion, with the goal of training and developing his career close to the world of two wheels. After his time in the printing team, for more than a year now he has been leading a unique section, printing and screen printing, where garments come to life with the help of a talented team and the latest technologies.
The human factor and Gobik’s future project
As of today, Aitor has been with the company for three years, which has allowed him to experience the company’s major evolution in recent years. He tells us: “A brutal change,” and at staff level, the number has more than doubled. When he joined, there were two people in the department, and now there are six, reaching even higher figures during particularly busy periods for the company. In terms of facilities, not a week goes by without something changing; there is continuous improvement in infrastructure as well as techniques and processes across all departments.

The social side, the company’s human factor, is one of the reasons he feels fulfilled in the company. He tells us: “here I have found the people I want to be with, friendships and more".
Printing for professional teams
In his day-to-day work, he is responsible for coordinating the workflow of the printing and screen printing section, preparing templates, vinyl cutting, and even printing if necessary.
His favorite orders, and the ones that motivate him the most, are those from professional teams, which are usually the most interesting to print.
He tells us, "Normally, all the garments we make at Gobik include prints, whether collection garments, custom garments, or garments for professional teams". In fact, one striking detail is that a single garment can feature up to seventeen prints, and one of the most curious areas they can print on is the bib straps of a pair of bib shorts.
