INSIDE GOBIK | Krasi

When Krasi arrived at Gobik, around a year ago, life had taken her here and there, through several professions. “I was a flight attendant, I worked in marketing at Red Bull, as a sales manager at another brand, and also in mechanics.” She had even modeled for a Gobik women’s bib-less shorts. “About four or five years ago, if I remember correctly.”

Her life map has led her to be who she is today, Gobik’s sales manager for the Levante area, with the experience and friendliness that bring her closer to people. “That’s my job, to move around, stay in contact with stores, clubs… always on the move, alert to change, to what’s being said or what’s going to be worn,” she says quickly, as if she were on the bike.

Because she is a cyclist: “I trained in physical education about thirteen years ago. My relationship with the bike wasn’t easy at first, I started on a €350 MTB, and over time I saw that amount was very small. I had a bad crash and switched to road cycling, and I’ve been here ever since.”

She could only end up at Gobik

As we said, Krasi already knew Gobik before taking on her current role. “I modeled for the first women’s bib-less shorts and kept a good relationship. Just over a year ago I got a call and ended up where I always knew I would end up: at Gobik.”

Her day-to-day requires a bit of every skill she has built up over these years. “It’s been a crazy year -she smiles-. A lot of movement and above all a lot of quick decisions and risk. It has been a learning experience, but a positive one, because we are in a changing moment that demands speed. We have our own new developments, but also businesses that close, merge, or new ones that open.”

Love of detail

“Gobik is a perfect company in this environment, it is agile in decision-making, there is no fear of taking risks and sometimes making mistakes. I love the passion we put into it, the brand image, there is an attention to detail that makes you fall in love. The retail channel perceives that,” she continues.

This is how she sees herself in a few years: “I want to keep growing, improving. I’m not conformist, I live comfortably in constant change, that’s my character. I want to see the brand in many more places, for example, to take Gobik to eastern markets, to my country, Bulgaria, where I maintain many contacts. There cycling is growing steadily, it is far from what it means here, but there is long-term room.”
