100TH EDITION OF THE Volta CICLISTA CATALUNYA | FROM 23 TO 29 MARCH
The 4th week of March, Gobik will return to the international peloton once again. And this time it will be even more special if possible, since we will be a whole week taking care of the leaders of The Voltawhich celebrates its 100th edition. The third longest-running round, after Tour and Giro, and included in the calendar UCI World Tour.
A new very special edition in which nothing will be missing. This year there will be a special sprint at the 100th kilometer of each stage dedicated to great names in the history of La VoltaThe individual time trial will be recovered and we will have a frenetic finish in Montjuïc.
This new edition will feature cyclists of the stature of Alejandro Valverde, Marc Soler, Nairo Quintana, Warren Garguil, Warren Garguil or the reigning champion of the race, the Colombian Miguel Ángel López. A roster that has nothing to envy to the three-week grand tours.
The first difficulties on the route of the Volta 2020 will start from the first stage where the ascent to the first stage, Santa Fe del Monstseny, will be incorporated, 50 kilometers before the first leader of the race is known.
