Last Sunday, August 17th, we celebrated in Singapore the first Gobik Grupeta Battlea coffee party linked to the world of cycling that brought together some of the most active groups in the city. The cycling scene in Singapore continues to grow, and Gobik is honored to dress with Gobik Custom Works to more than ten local groupsets, the real protagonists of this community.
The proposal was simple: put the riders to compete in a knockout format, through the platform TrainingPeaks platform in an indoor cycling studio in the city with the help of Virtual Cycling Singaporewhile, all around, a unique atmosphere was created with a coffee corner by La Marzocco x Allpresslocal coffee roasters. Dj's, delicious burritos from Guzman and Gomez, who did not hesitate to support us again in this event with their healthy tex mex food.
Several surprises in the form of merchandising customized with the image of the Gobik Grupeta BattleThe event was a great success, with a lot of rhythm and excitement for those who came to cheer on the different groups, as well as for the participants who gave their best.
The result exceeded all expectations. More than 80 people gathered to live each elimination with intensity, vibrating to the rhythm of the battles and music. A real party in which the Singapore cycling community became the true protagonist of the event.
The Gobik Grupeta Battle was much more than a competition: it was the perfect excuse to gather the entire Singapore cycling community in the same space, share passion for this sport and enjoy a different morning, full of energy, coffee and cycling.
Quantum Racing was the winner of this first edition, and we are already thinking about a second one with the new incorporations of the new groups that we are going to have in the city.
Because at Gobik we believe that what makes cycling great is not only the kilometers or the competition, but the moments we live together.
