Once again, the Girona event proved why the city is one of the undisputed epicenters of European cycling. Sea Otter Europe 2026 is the meeting point for a more active community than ever, and at Gobik we couldn’t miss this great celebration.
Throughout the weekend, our stand became an interactive space where, in addition to discovering the latest collections such as INTERLUDE, Supersonica, and our more lifestyle-oriented collection for everyday wear, we shared experience, kilometers, and great conversations alongside brands and teams such as Movistar Team, Klimatiza Orbea Team, 226ERS, and Canyon.
Real connection with the public
For us, technical cycling apparel can only be understood in one way: by listening to those who wear it. From the professional rider who wants the best product and finishes to perform at their highest level in competition, to those who want to dress comfortably and look cool on any bike ride. That’s why the Gobik stand was all about interaction with our community.
We experienced very special moments such as the Q&A with the Movistar Gravel Squad, the competitive (and incredibly fun) balance challenge with the track stand alongside the Klimatiza Orbea Team, and several activations designed to leave a mark: from live tote bag customization to our temporary tattoo corner. A different and informal way to share and spread that Nonconformist spirit that defines us.
A weekend of memorable victories
The sporting side was no less impressive. It was an immense source of pride to see David Valero claim the top spot over the weekend after his spectacular victory in the Sea Otter Europe UCI Marathon World Cup race, a golden finishing touch to a massive edition that came close to 80,000 visitors.
In addition, it was time to celebrate the recent victory in La Vuelta a España as it deserved. That’s why we joined forces with 226ERS and Canyon to organize the perfect plan: pizza, beer, and the unmatched atmosphere of a live set by DJ Coco that made us enjoy this closing celebration, just as it should be.
Events like this reaffirm who we are and what drives us every day. A huge thank you to the entire Gobik team, who gave their all to make the stand look perfect, and to each and every one of you who stopped by to say hello, chat, or spend some time with us.
