Born during the global pause, The Usuals emerged in 2021 not just as a group of cyclists, but as a movement. Today, they are one of the most dynamic multi-sport teams in the Philippines: a collective of everyday athletes who pursue uncommon goals with passion, discipline, and an unmistakable style.
They call themselves The Usuals, but there is nothing typical about them.
Whether competing on the road, running trails, or aiming to qualify for the World Marathon Majors, The Usuals stand out for pushing their limits to the maximum... and enjoying themselves while doing it. They don’t just train hard; they support each other, building something much bigger than physical fitness: a true community with ambition.

FROM ESCAPE TO IDENTITY
The team’s origins go back to 2021, when a small group of former athletes turned to cycling as a means of escape, reconnection, and activity during a difficult time. What started as casual rides became something real: shared routes, common goals, a collective rhythm that carried them through the toughest moments.
From strangers to teammates. From rides to races. That’s how The Usuals was born.
"A KIT THAT'S TRULY OURS"
“Working with Gobik was very easy,” the team says. “They captured our identity from the very beginning and translated it into a personalized kit that truly felt like ours: something bold, clean, and designed for performance.”
The result? A high-level kit that balances performance and aesthetics in perfect harmony.
“What we like most is that it feels ready to compete. The colors translated perfectly from the screen to reality. It improves the way we move... and the way we present ourselves to the world.”
Now, The Usuals ride with a kit that reflects their mindset: sharp, determined, and proudly authentic.

From local podiums to international events, The Usuals keep raising the bar, not just as individuals, but as a team. “We are drawn to goals that intimidate us: the Majors, ultra-endurance events, new terrains. We don’t repeat the same route every year; we keep exploring, we keep moving forward.”
That mentality has led them to take on everything: Ironman triathlons, gravel races, 100-mile ultramarathons, and long days in the saddle, seeking elevation in the highlands of the Philippines.
But beyond the physical challenge, what truly sets The Usuals apart is their desire to grow the culture around them. They mentor new athletes, support each other in different disciplines, and share their experiences to inspire those taking their first steps.
What’s next: qualifying for major international events, going further in endurance sports, and continuing to blur the line between performance and community. Their ambition is clear: not just to compete harder, but to elevate the everyday athlete. To show what’s possible when passion meets purpose, and when teammates become family.

RIDE AND RECHARGE
They recommend us a usual route for their outings: Alabang – Tagaytay via Sampaloc–Talisay
A route of about 100 km that offers different terrains: long steady climbs, spectacular views of the lake, and technical descents. A complete route that challenges the body and rewards the senses, especially with a stop for coffee at the top.
And a coffee spot you can't miss: Ahon Coffee, Antipolo
Run by a cyclist, Ahon Coffee has become a meeting point for riders from the east. With its welcoming atmosphere and constant flow of interesting people, it's the kind of place where post-ride chats turn into friendships.
