In a new gesture of social commitment with its closest environment, the Yecla company Gobik, recognized for its innovative character in the design of cycling clothing, has made a donation of 20,631 euros to AMPY, the Association of People with Intellectual Disabilities of Yecla, as a sign of support in its work of inclusion, autonomy and welfare of this group.
Far from being a one-off action, this gesture of solidarity is a reflection of Gobik's deep roots in its locality and the human values promoted by the company. The collection was carried out thanks to a special sale of the brand's garments, which took place at the XII Yecla Outlet Fair.
During three intense days, a group of Gobik employees decided, on a completely voluntary basis, to dedicate their time and effort to attend the point of sale. Their involvement allowed all the profits to go entirely to AMPY. This gesture reinforces the conviction that the true strength of a company lies not only in its commercial success, but in the human quality of the people who make it up.
"For us it was not simply about selling, but about helping, sharing and giving back to Yecla part of what this land gives us every day. AMPY does essential work, and we wanted to do our bit to support them on their way," said Gobik's management.
