With routes of 60 km, 138 km and the challenging 189 km, cyclists of all levels can immerse themselves in this historic event, famous for its nine iconic climbs.

Knowing the Route

The 189 km main route accumulates a total elevation gain of 3,265 meters, challenging even the most experienced cyclists. Starting from the coastal town of Cesenatico, the route traverses a series of climbs with unique characteristics:

  • Polenta: First ascent with a constant gradient, setting the initial pace.
  • Pieve di Rivoschio: A longer climb that requires a steady pace.
  • Ciola: Short but steep, requires explosive power.
  • Barbotto: Famous for its 18% maximum incline, testing strength and endurance.
  • Montetiffi: Combines length with demanding sections.
  • Perticara: One of the longest climbs, with a constant slope.
  • Pugliano: The highest point of the route, offering panoramic views.
  • Passo delle Siepi: A gentler climb, ideal for recovery.
  • Sogliano: The final climb before the return to Cesenatico.

The 138 km and 60 km routes include a selection of these climbs, offering options according to the endurance level of each cyclist. Knowing the characteristics of the chosen route is key to effective preparation.
