Pattern Making & Product Development
Since she was a child, Alicia Menor discovered her passion for creating: playing with dolls, she would turn any scrap of fabric into new clothes, imagining unique outfits and styles. That early curiosity turned into a vocation, leading her to study design and industrial pattern making and to work in different sectors of the fashion industry. Today, as a pattern maker in the Product Development department at Gobik, Alicia transforms each idea into high-performance garments, combining creativity, technique, and precision. She chose Gobik for the passion that Alberto and José transmit and for sharing that nonconformist spirit, which inspires her to surpass herself every day.
Every garment she designs, from prototypes to articles for professional cyclists, reflects her talent, dedication, and love for sports fashion.

From Prototype to Final Product
At Gobik, every idea is transformed into reality. We create patterns, prototypes, and details, going through cutting, calendaring, bonding, and sewing, up to the final fittings. The 3D tools allow us to visualize and adjust the garments before production, ensuring precision and optimization at every step. Finally, we grade sizes, create technical sheets, and put everything into production. This process is applied to all collections, custom garments, and items for WorldTour teams, where accuracy and quality are essential.
The Demands of High Performance
Preparing a fitting with a professional team is intense and enriching. Organizing sizes, pieces, and schedules requires precision, but the most valuable thing is listening to the direct feedback from cyclists and understanding their feelings. Each comment pushes us to improve and perfect every detail.

The biggest challenge is achieving aerodynamic garments that really help athletes perform at their best. We test fabrics, configurations, and prototypes that athletes even test in wind tunnels. Inspiration comes from the materials, trends, and feedback from the teams, and the motivation is always the same: to create, improve, and evolve day by day.
