Since he was a child, Jaime always wanted to know what was inside things. He remembers a moment that defined his path: in a hospital playroom, a broken robot caught his attention. Without thinking, he took it apart and fixed it. That drive to discover, understand, and improve became his engine. Today, that same curiosity guides him in technology, systems, and Artificial Intelligence: anything that can be optimized, automated, or improved sparks his curiosity. For Jaime, systems are not just cables and servers; they are the invisible heartbeat that keeps the company alive.
Making everything work
At Gobik, Jaime is responsible for Systems. His work goes beyond maintaining servers and connectivity: he automates processes for the design team, explores cybersecurity, and solves any unexpected challenges that may arise. Every day is a balance between solving the urgent and planning the innovative.
"Working in IT is like being the company’s silent engine: you don’t always see it, but if it fails, everything stops," says Jaime. His team of seven people combines specialization and collaboration to ensure that every area at Gobik has what it needs. The biggest challenge is keeping up with the speed of technology and prioritizing innovations that truly add value.
What inspires him is transforming daily work into something more efficient, freeing up time for creativity and innovation.
