The tone of her voice and the smile that dresses each of her sentences give her away. She speaks from the design and pattern department, where the ideas of any group are brought to life, a process she explains in detail: "First we make the design, it is confirmed with the team, we go on to pattern making and finally we export it to printing".
A job that helps her to grow in GobikShe will soon make a leap within the company, becoming part of the Product Development Department. She admits to being nervous and excited because it is "a change that I didn't expect. I'll be side by side with my pattern-making colleagues, watching trends and proposing colors. Here we are already thinking about 2024. I will be able to get to know my work better, although from a different point of view.
On GobikSince day one, he has been a very direct witness to the brand's journey to the present day. She likes to be visible on the road, but also unique: "I always try to wear eye-catching clothes, to combine them endlessly and, above all, to be seen on the road. I like bold designs, even if they are seasonal, that there are changes and new proposals. I also take the opportunity to test and try everything I can to help improve the product.
Nothing is written: "We don't have to fall into clichés, it's great to have a group in which you are comfortable no matter the color. Of course, women are more delicate when it comes to defining colors. For me there is no one pink, there are many pinks. We know how to capture trends and enhance the technical aspects of the clothes.
Cristina's trip to Yecla

"My growth here has been parallel to that of the company. Gobik It has given me maturity both professionally and personally, to see cycling from another point of view and to know the importance of chain work. I am very aware that everything I do affects others," he says.
"The customer custom always asks for that "touch Gobik" to their jersey -he says with satisfaction. I have always liked the brand's proposal, that aesthetic that makes it recognizable from afar".
A cyclist in her spare time, she is always attentive to the clothes she wears, as well as those of her group mates. We women "are sensitive to detail and to the level of finish," she says, proud to feel that she is part of a family of 180 workers.
Rosi, and the origin of Gobik
Taking care of the "sewing", Rosi Zorzona, works in Gobik Rosi Zorzona has been working in the Innovation Lab for almost 10 years, together with more than 12 specialists.
He is in the middle of the product development process, creating revolutionary solutions in the field of technical clothing for cyclists. The first prototype of any new model, whatever its technical development, comes out of his hands. "Let's say I make them for the first time so that both the professional teams and the various professionals who work side by side with us can push the garment to the limit. From the first piece to the final one, there is always an evolution, as each garment depends on many details," says Rosi.
"I am the longest-serving in a team of more than twelve specialists," she says. This has been a full-fledged personal challenge, as her passion and her life has always revolved around fashion, and after a long career in totally different sectors, she decided to bet on the fashion world. GobikAfter a long career in totally different sectors, he decided to go into the fashion industry, where he is already a reference and an example for the new generations of the family.
An unwritten but ever-present motto: to continually recycle oneself. "The requirements in terms of clothing have evolved a lot, the garments are lighter, we have incorporated new, more sustainable raw materials, the machines are more technical, and we have also implemented other forms of sewing such as heat sealing or even ultrasonic sewing.
Today, she enjoys being a follower of a sport that brings her so much, and seeing how both the stars of cycling and her grandchildren already use the garments that have come from her own hands. A passion that in GobikWe will be eternally grateful to her for this passion.
Silvia, in contact with nature
Today Silvia Escámez is in the preparatory department, where five women send pieces such as chamois and suspenders to be sewn before continuing with the process. She is the pioneer of the department: "It was created three months after I joined the company. Gobik. The challenge has been amazing, both on a personal and work level. Everything passes through our hands. That was almost four years ago.
He admits the great importance of his section as a link in the chain. His work fits in with the company's values: "We are a key point, each piece is a world. The equipment of the teams is very labor-intensive, each rider is special and everything has to be perfect.
In this way "time goes by almost without my noticing, I wouldn't change my job for anything. There are four of us in the department, a sort of family, because in addition to being colleagues, we are friends.
She likes to go mountain biking. She is very drawn to nature and the mountains, where "I test the material, look at the finishes and, if I notice any defects, I take note" she tells us, admitting that she feels very involved. "Gobik It's an important part of my life. I notice that I have grown on a personal level with the company," she concludes.
Miriam, caring for people
One day, Miriam Garcia successfully proposed changing the name of her department. She went from Human Resources to Culture and People: "After the pandemic, we experienced a boom in sales, which translated into the number of new people who came to the company. Gobik. We needed to look at people, to get to know them. That's why we promoted actions so that employees could get to know each other. The acronym HR no longer made sense, because people are the culture of the company.
It all came from his initiative. A law student and "cyclist" on the road, he started in Gobik as a sales manager about six years ago. Shortly after joining, the company created the human resources department. "At that time there were about 50 of us, and I was asked to take over HR, which was something completely new. Little by little I grew in my functions, and I was doing more and more things.
As we said, after the pandemic there was a hiring "boom" and "we were overwhelmed. Then Sara came in, and with her we undertook this name change, because the culture of Gobik is based on values such as belonging, family, nonconformity and teamwork".
Her work and cycling complete her: "I cycle a lot, especially on the road. This is a way of life, not just a job. I wanted to find a sport that you make your own, and here I have found it. Gobik It's been a radical change for me, I'm a very different person from the one who came in one day," she says, proud to be a female counterbalance in the care of all the people who make the brand great.
