If there is one word that perfectly describes what Gobik is, it is surely "family", and this is how the self-styled "mother of Gobik" describes it, not because she has given birth to the company, but because everyone who works in the company sees in Sole that mother figure who always has everything under control, but who also has the experience that the years have given her.
Sole Arnao has been part of Gobik's management team for 7 years. She is 50 years old and would not trade for the world the administrative work she does, something that, as she says, is in her blood thanks to her father: "I've worked in administration all my life. My father worked here in Yecla too, in large furniture companies. He was also an accountant, administrative, he loved his work and I have inherited it, he has transmitted me that love. When I was studying at University, he even gave me accounting lessons. I enjoy working here and I am really happy working in administration."
Let's back up a bit, because to get to know better the essence of such a special relationship as Gobik and Sole's, we have to start from the beginning. Sole does not tell an idyllic story, just the opposite, she tells us with all the simplicity and humility of the world that when she joined the company she did it out of economic need, perhaps that is also what has forged this company, the simplicity of the members that form it, the humility and the desire to work of the simple people of the day to day.
Simple people who have been adding and adding, as Sole proudly says, "In April I will have been with the company for seven years. When I joined there were 40 of us, now there are 200, if I remember correctly". And be careful, because the growth can not only be seen in the number of people working in the company, but also in one of the key pieces, the web, as Sole says: "Something that I have seen grow, not grow, but be born, has been the online site. When I joined the company, the website didn't even exist, and now to see how big it has become... the truth is that I don't even know how to describe it in words. After 7 years we asked Sole what reasons she has for choosing Gobik every day, and the truth is that her answer could be enough to define the company, "Well, because of everything it brings me. As I said, I'm already 50 years old. I have people in my team who are 23, that is, most of the people here, as you have seen, are young people. They provide me with vitality, freshness, and a constant learning, new knowledge. In every facet, not only in knowledge, but in the way I dress, in the way I think, in the way I act..."
