Inside Gobik Band - Juanmi Muñoz

If we had to describe Juanmi with one word, perhaps it would be "versatility". Although this 43-year-old Yecla native considers himself a "kid", his life is full of experiences and hobbies ranging from sports to science, and our protagonist not only studied chemistry, but also worked as a chemist for a while, but his innate curiosity and pragmatic nature have led him to explore new challenges, as he tells us: "I have always liked to learn things that I can then apply". Perhaps it is this attitude that has led him to be a key player in the evolution of Gobik, where he is currently deputy director.

From bike to office

Juanmi's history with the bike is not that of an enthusiast who was already on it before he could ride.... In fact, he started cycling late, at the age of 31, already married and about to become a father. That hobby led him to meet José Ramón (CEO and co-founder of Gobik) and join a small company that then had just five people. "It was a leap into the void for both parties," he says with a smile. His initial mission was clear, to help set up Gobik's first factory, a task he faced without much prior experience in engineering, sales or human resources.

Over time, his role evolved from "orchestra man" to assistant to management, in charge of structuring all the company's departments. "At the beginning, the days were marathon days, but little by little, we grew and delegated responsibilities. Today, his focus is on planning and making Gobik a scalable company, ready for continuous growth.

Daily challenges and applied science

Juanmi defines his work as a mix of intuition, data analysis and a touch of "applied science". From predicting product demand, to planning resources, his goal is to ensure that Gobik is always one step ahead. "I don't have a crystal ball, but I try to read the future through mathematical tools and a bit of intuition," he says, a combination that has led him to become a "natural scientist".CX Pro"He is versatile, fast and efficient, able to adapt to any situation.

Beyond work

Outside of Gobik, Juanmi finds his outlet in cycling, running and reading. With a personal goal of reading 20 to 25 books a year, he is constantly looking to learn new things that he can apply in both his personal and professional life. "Biking clears my mind, helps me think and keeps me fit," he says.
